Following courses have been introduced by OGS at initial basis;

1. Basic Rig Technology

This is an awareness training of the equipment, terminology and operations associated with the drilling process. Introduction to drilling technology (equipment, terminology and operations), providing non-drilling personnel with the knowledge required for effective teamwork and communication with their drilling colleagues.

2. Rig Electrician

This course is introduction of duties of an electrician install, maintains, troubleshoot, repair, test and commission electrical and electronic equipment and systems on oil rigs. The rig electrician may also work on electrical transmission and distribution equipment.

3. Rig Mechanic

This course is introduction of duties of Oil rig mechanics performs routine preventive maintenance and ensure that machines and equipment continue to run smoothly. Following a checklist, a rig mechanic may inspect drives, motors and hydraulic systems, check fluid levels, replace filters and perform other maintenance actions.

4. Well Control/ Assistant Driller & Driller level course

Well Control & Introductory training designed to give potential well control certification candidates an awareness of well control theory, practices and equipment in order to prepare them for testing. Introduction to the basic and essential calculations for drilling and Pressure control operations.

5. Well cap Introductory (Floorman, Derrickman Level)

6. Safety Officer

The Course aims to familiarize trainees regarding the Environment, Health, and Safety policies adopted by the oil and gas industry. It has always been taken for granted that SAFETY is the sole responsibility of the Safety Department or the Safety Officer. Safety is always a high priority in the oil and gas industry. Having the proper training and instruction is critical to ensure that work is done safely. Each country and company has its own laws, and regulations regarding safety.

7. Store Keeper

This course is introduction of duties of material man/store keeper like directs material movement activities – receiving, storing, issuing, disposal & recovery of mechanical, systems, drilling, process and miscellaneous material used in RSPOC Exploration Drilling operations. Ensures all material transactions are accurately processed and to keep a sound audit trail. Also responsible for physical inventory audits and reconciliation of internal and external storage facilities and stock maintenance.

8. Rig Safety Awareness course

This course is a combination of lecture, workshop and group interaction covering all aspects of work over and well servicing operations and equipment, with the aim of ensuring that all well-site activities are carried out to the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
